Alex McNicoll

Alex McNicoll has been an English teacher for the best part of 20 years but, like many of her ilk, not-so-secretly dreamed of being a writer long before that. 

She made a tentative start in 2015, writing a handful of preschool stories, before taking the plunge and committing to novel writing in 2021. 

She is now working on her third book, a dystopian novel for young adults. 

She lives in Exeter with one husband, two children and a three-legged cat.
