Abigail Williams

Abby was born in Yorkshire, lived for a while in Norfolk and now calls Totnes home, where she lives with her family and dog.   

A former marketing director, in 2020 Abby made the financially questionable decision to indulge her love of stories and embark on an MA in Creative Writing at the University of Exeter. 

Since then she has won or been placed in numerous flash and short story competitions including Bath Flash Fiction Award, Flash 500, Oxford Flash Fiction, Reflex Fiction, Cranked Anvil and, of course, the Exeter Writer's prize. Her third place Bath Flash Fiction story was nominated for a Pushcart Prize and she's had stories published in Riptide and Popshot Quarterly. 

Abby graduated in 2022 with a distinction and is now wrestling with her historical fiction novel. The novel may be winning.
