Hayley N Jones

Hayley joined Exeter Writers in 2016, after winning the Devon Prize in our short story competition. She was also a finalist in the Aesthetica 2017 Creative Writing Award with the same story, 'Things I Have Wasted Money On.'

Her short stories have been published in Confingo, the Aesthetica Creative Writing Annual and Toasted Cheese.

Hayley is currently working on a crime novel and a supernatural thriller. Short stories remain a passion and she particularly enjoys writing about ghosts, strange events and intriguing characters.

She has a Creative Writing MA from the University of Exeter and has recently completed a Psychology BSc with the Open University. Most of her writing is done while wrangling two boisterous springer spaniels and a tabby kitten. Thankfully, only the latter walks across her laptop keyboard!
