Be A Guest of Exeter Writers…

As writers, we never stop learning. There’s always some aspect of our craft we need to practise; or a skill that could do with a bit of a polish. And workshops are a great way of getting that extra bit of experience and support. Talking to, and working with, other writers, whether it’s the more experienced tutor, or fellow writers at the same stage as ourselves, is always beneficial.

This year's Exeter Literary Festival has a packed programme of events for writers as well as readers. Although they've kept their prices as low as possible to make the sessions accessible for everyone, a full weekend of workshop tickets can be a bit of a stretch for some people.

Which is why Exeter Writers are delighted to sponsor three writers for a weekend at the festival. That means complementary tickets for the following events:

Writers Networking Day
Indie Publishing: Audio Books
Publicity
Blogs and Reviews
Stories for Magazines
Diversity for Writers
Flash Fiction Workshop
Festival Finale: How To End Well

To be in with a chance to take up this great opportunity, tell us in 200-300 words why you should be one of the three lucky writers and how you would benefit from attending the writers’ stream at Exeter Literary Festival. Email your submission to exeterwriters@gmail.com by Sunday 10th October with ‘Sponsored Festival Tickets’ as the subject heading. The successful applicants will be informed by Sunday 17th October.

Coming Soon: Watch out for news about the networking event on Friday 5th November and how to win free entry to the Exeter Novel Prize and the Exeter Writers Short Story Competition.
