Anthology wins joint first prize
The outcome of the competition for the David St John Thomas Charitable Trust's annual Writers' Circles Anthology Trophy:
Joint first prize! Exposure won £100 for the Group.
The other winning anthologies were: Pot Hooks for Ladles from the Salford-based Words in Edgeways, Along the Lines from Ross-Shire Writers Group, and And Having Writ... from the Carmarthenshire-based ScribesRus.
The overall winner was Along the Lines, which received the trophy, but joint first prize is the official designation. We're delighted with the result, and our thanks go to all who participated in the creation of Exposure.
Background for those interested: David St John Thomas was one of the co-founders of the Devon-based publisher David & Charles, since 2000 an imprint of F+W Publications. The Trust, founded to foster good writing, was established with the proceeds of the sale.
