Tricia Kyne has worked in housing and homelessness across the South West for the past twenty years.
She is the longest serving member of Exeter Writers, having joined in October 1995, and is also a member of the Historical Novel Society and the Romantic Novelists’ Association.
As a New Writers’ Scheme member of the RNA, she has submitted her first romantic novel, Lonely Boy, for assessment in 2019.
Tricia’s major work in progress is a series of three novels based on the life of Livia, first Empress of Rome and founder of the Julio-Claudian dynasty. The first novel in the series, Livia: Killing the King, has been read by Sam Jordison. He describes it as “highly readable” with prose that is “crisp, clear, dramatic and vivid”. The next novels in the series are Livia Augusta and Livia, Goddess.
