Naomi Siân Southern

Cardiff-born Naomi Siân Southern began writing seriously after her short story The Quiet Man and Nothing was shortlisted for the 2008 Writers' Advice Centre competition. Since then - and keen on a challenge - she's taken her writing in a number of different directions, and had several short stories published in a variety of anthologies. Having settled down somewhat, her writing is now broadly split between humourous fiction for children, and speculative fiction for adults and young adults.

She lives in South Devon with her husband, daughter, and a small menagerie of furred creatures.
